So Dee, Aysen and I have been offered a warehouse full of free yarn to use for the Lights In Winter festival. There's only one catch...
It's in a bit of a mess.
And we need to go and pick it up ourselves.
But Dee had a look at it and she said it was actually in not too bad a condition but we would need to wind it into balls.
So if anyone in the Melbourne region has any ball winders that they'd be willing to lend us, then please let us know. Or if you're in the area and you'd be interested in a busy bee come stitch and bitch to help us out then get in contact with us.

I picked up a wool winder at a second-hand shop last year so if you put the word out some of your friends might be able to keep an eye out for one or maybe three for that amount of wool you have been given... Good Luck with it all...
That's a good idea. I've tried eBay but i kind of need it now and checking Lincraft/Spotlight/yarn shops, it's gonna cost at least $200 for a ball winder and swift. :(
