Started my next yarn bomb today. It's a topper for a shipping bollard.
Here's a photo I took of the bollard when I was out yesterday letting the ducks off down the river.
You can't really tell from the photo but the bollard is actually quite large.
And here's the start:
I've gone with blue and white colors. As you can see I haven't gotten very far with it as I was busy writing up the 'How To' yarn bomb post and links. Tomorrow is a public holiday and I'm working so hopefully it's slow - meaning I can sit around and crochet all night.

oh wow that's a huge bollard Bali. You know the topper will get pulled off the first time they swing a thick, oily rope over it??
ReplyDeleteYeah it's big but I crochet quickly so it won't take long for me. And as for the end result, I'm almost never concerned about that. That's why I take lots of photos because the photos live on in my memory and not the actual product. If it gets ruined then oh well.
